Analysis of leading art history scholarship as well as main questions and approaches through selected readings and examination of resources of the discipline (e.g. major journals and references). Focus on foundational authors (Panofsky, Gombrich, Schapiro, Belting) as well as major contemporary issues (e.g. gender, visual culture). Preference given to Art History majors, especially juniors and seniors.
