Halpern-Rogath Curatorial Seminar: University Museum: Architecture and Institution

An exploration of the famous museum's 120-year history, examining its varied architecture, the development of its collections, changing strategies for the display of artifacts, and the Museum's educational and research mission. The seminar will create an exhibition that will be installed in the Museum in 2007. The approach will be multi-disciplinary, with research projects of interest to historians of art, architecture, and American culture; archaeologists, anthropologists, architects, and designers.
